Red Veins (15min - £25)

(Telangiectasia) are dilated capillaries that appear on the face, often around the nose or cheeks and can run in families. Other possible causes can include the capillaries weakening due to ageing, sun/wind damage, pregnancy, smoking and extremes of temperature. A fine needle is placed just under the skin and a tiny amount of galvanic current combined with a little heat coagulates the dilated capillary. This results in the capillary drying up and disappearing.

Blood Spots (15min - £20)

(Campbell de Morgan) and Spider Naevi (Small capillaries radiating from a central blood vessel like spider legs).

 

Skin Tags (15min - £25)

are very common and typical fibrous growths of loose skin. They appear on the face, neck and often in areas of friction such as underarm or where a bra rubs, groin area and vary in size.

Milia (15min - £20)

(Whiteheads) appear mostly around the cheeks and eye areas. They lie just under the surface of the skin and are tiny, pearly, hard lesions containing keratin.
